Who we are
rdelune LLC ("rdelune", "we", "us") is a software consultancy and the controller for this website. This website is operated at rdelune.dev. Business address: Cratloe, Co. Clare, Ireland. For any privacy-related queries, contact brian@rdelune.dev.
Contact and scheduling
If you contact us by email, request a template, or submit a lead form, we receive the information you choose to send, such as your name, email address, message content, company, project details, selected template, and any attachments. Template downloads require email submission. If you book a call through Cal.com, Cal.com processes the scheduling details you provide under its own privacy terms.
Readiness check
The EU Product Readiness Check runs in your browser. Your answers are held in your browser session while you complete it and are sent to us only if you ask for a copy of your result or request a call. We use those answers to calculate your result and then discard them: we do not store your individual answers. The record we keep contains the result band, the readiness scores per area, the identifiers of the three recommended actions, your product stage, how you reached the check, and the contact details you chose to give. Emailing you a copy of your result is a transactional message you asked for and is separate from the optional marketing opt-in. If you request a call, we also keep what you tell us about your product so we can prepare for it.
First-party analytics
We collect basic first-party analytics to understand site usage and improve the business. Page view events may include the page path, referrer, approximate country from Cloudflare, and timestamp. Business events may include coarse labels such as booking-link clicks, email-link clicks, template selections, form outcomes, download clicks, outbound destination domain, source section, page path, and, for the readiness check, whether an assessment was started or completed and which result band it produced. These labels are never linked to an individual, and your answers are never sent to analytics. We do not use analytics cookies, visitor IDs, fingerprinting, advertising pixels, or retargeting, and analytics is disabled when browser privacy signals such as Do Not Track or Global Privacy Control are enabled.
How we use your data
We use contact and scheduling information to respond to enquiries, provide requested template downloads, prepare for calls, provide requested services, and maintain business records. We use analytics in aggregate to understand which pages, services, templates, and calls to action are useful. Marketing email is opt-in only. We do not sell, rent, or share personal data for advertising or retargeting.
Why we are allowed to use it
We rely on our legitimate interest in running and improving a consultancy to handle enquiries, prepare for calls, keep coarse first-party analytics, and protect our forms from abuse. We rely on steps taken at your request before entering a contract when you ask us to email a result or arrange a call. We rely on your consent for marketing email, which is separately ticked and can be withdrawn at any time. We keep some records because we are legally required to for accounting and business purposes.
Cookies and local storage
This site does not currently use advertising cookies, third-party analytics cookies, tracking pixels, or retargeting technologies. The site may use localStorage and sessionStorage for requested functionality and preferences, including theme or interface preferences and your in-progress readiness check answers, which stay in your browser session. If non-essential tracking or marketing technologies are added later, we will add an appropriate consent mechanism before they run.
Third-party processors
The site uses Cloudflare Pages for hosting and Cloudflare D1 for first-party analytics, template request storage, and readiness check and call-request records. Cloudflare Turnstile provides bot protection on our forms and receives the information needed to run that check. Resend delivers our transactional email, including your readiness check result, and receives your email address and the message content. Cal.com is used for external appointment scheduling. These providers process data only as needed to deliver their services, and may process it outside the EU/EEA under the transfer safeguards in their own terms.
Retention
Template request records, readiness check records, and call request records are stored in Cloudflare D1 for up to 12 months, then deleted or aggregated into non-identifying statistics. We keep enquiry, scheduling, and business correspondence for as long as needed to respond, provide services, and maintain appropriate business records. Raw first-party analytics events are retained for up to 12 months unless a shorter period is adopted.
Your rights
Depending on where you live, you may have rights to access, correct, delete, or receive a copy of your personal data, and to object to or restrict certain processing. To request access to or deletion of a template-request, readiness check, or call-request record, email brian@rdelune.dev from the address you used, or include enough information for us to verify the request. Privacy rights requests are handled without undue delay and normally within one month. If you are not satisfied with how we have handled a request, you can complain to your local supervisory authority; in Ireland that is the Data Protection Commission at dataprotection.ie.
Changes to this policy
We may update this policy from time to time. Changes will be posted on this page with an updated revision date.
